Tech (+7) at OU
I cannot recall any other time in history I’ve rooted for OU (sorry fool), but we need OU to beat Tech this week and turn around and beat Ok St. so Texas can win the head-to-head and go to the Big 12 Championship, embarrass Mizzou again, and play FLA in the National Championship.
* West Virginia at Louisville (+7)
I’m going with the Cards, at home, to wrap up the year. SK needs this one in a big way.
* Tech (+7) at OU
If this game is in Lubbock it is a no-brainer. Given it is in Norman its a tough if not impossible call…except for the 7 pts. I see a close game going either way so I’ve gotta take Tech and the points.
* BC at Wake (-2)
Wake at home is tough but I am getting on the Eagle bandwagon. I’ll take BC, the points, and an upset.
Illinois (-3) at Northwestern
Northwestern was poised in September to be this year’s KU. The season wore on and injuries took their tool. I’ll take Juice, to cover the spread in Chicago.
* BYU at Utah (-7)
The state championship of Utah is ON. I’ll take the Utes to continue their streak but will fall short of the line. BYU covers.
Been out of town all week and just now commandeered one of the internets (as Carol would say)…
West Virginia at Louisville (+7)
Give me the Cards and the points…
Tech (+7) at OU
I think Texas is on the outside looking in regardless of what happens here…
Scenario A: OU wins out… They overtake Texas on BCS points by virtue of wins over TT (a top 2 team) and OSU (a top 15 team) down the stretch… They also have a win in the non-con over a highly ranked team (TCU) whereas as Texas played slugs in the non-con… Yeah Texas beat OU, but like they say, if you are gonna lose, lose early… And Texas plays no one that can improve their BCS ranking… In fact, playing A&M will probably hurt their ranking…
Scenario B: TT loses to OU and OU loses to OSU next week… Texas loses out on the head to head tiebreaker to TT…
Scenario C: TT wins out… Elementary… TT wins the South…
That being said, I’ll take TT and the points, but the Sooners to win it, by 5′ish…
BC at Wake (-2)
I’ll take Wake at home…
Illinois (-3) at Northwestern
Northwestern in a laugher…
BYU at Utah (-7)
It’ll be high scoring so I’ll take the Cougars and the points…
